Day one of an exchange student

After a torrid 12 hours traveling from Asia to Finland, I finally
reached the Helsinki International airport. It is much smaller and not
as busy as I thought. I guess so too because Finland is a quiet state
by nature. There were less than 1oo passengers in the airport
collecting their luggage.I found my big blue backpack and looked around
for the info counter. I found the way to the city where I need to walk
to the train station to catch a train to my stop, Kannelmaki. It took
me another hour before I found and register into my apartment.
This apartment is like a typical 3 room flat in Singapore with each
student staying in a room and common areas i.e. kitchen and toilet.
After putting my things down, I explored the surrounding areas for
supermarkets and banks. I still have to rush to school to join the
orientation…so shagged but at the same time excited about my new home
for the next few months.

As a true blue exchange student, I have to find my way around on my own from now on.
